Volleyball Recap: Maryville Christian Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Maryville Christian won the last time they faced First Baptist Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over First Baptist Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

While Maryville Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: First Baptist Academy scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21.

Maryville Christian pushed their record up to 8-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for First Baptist Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maryville Christian will face off against Edwardsville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, First Baptist Academy and Victory Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
