Baseball Game Preview: Ryan Raiders vs. Grapevine Mustangs

Ryan hasn't had much luck against Grapevine recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Ryan will be playing at home against Grapevine at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Ryan 4.1, Grapevine 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Ryan will face Grapevine after dropping another heartbreaker against Richland on Friday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. Ryan came up short against Richland, falling 11-0.

Meanwhile, Grapevine waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Broncos by a score of 8-3.

Ryan's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Grapevine, their victory bumped their record up to 17-2.

Ryan suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Grapevine in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can Ryan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
