Softball Recap: Richford Find Success

It was close, but on Thursday the Richford Falcons sidestepped the Winooski Spartans for a 13-11 win. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly two runs.

Richford got a big performance out of Katelyn Doe, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases Doe has posted since back in April. Erin Raymond also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Richford has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Winooski, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

As of now, neither Richford nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
