Norwayne dropped their record down to 17-4 on Monday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They fell  7-2 to the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish. The  game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring  matchup so far this season.
 CJ Moore spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned  (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Norwayne saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kylie Heyden, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run.
As for St. Vincent-St. Mary, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.8 runs over those games.
On St. Vincent-St. Mary's side, they also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in:  Kate Krabill gave up two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on six hits.
 At the plate,  Ella Kim was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  triples and three  runs. Those  two  triples gave  her a new career-high.  Avarie Mays was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  home run and two  RBI.
 Coming up, Norwayne will head out on the road to  challenge  Dalton  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 7.9  runs per game this season. As for St. Vincent-St. Mary, they will face off against Streetsboro at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
