Volleyball Recap: Walnut Ridge Comes Up Short

If Walnut Ridge was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Central on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Manila Lions on Thursday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 23, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Walnut Ridge's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Manila, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coincidentally, Walnut Ridge and Manila will both be playing Crowley's Ridge Academy the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Bobcats will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
