Basketball Game Preview: Knippa Crushers vs. D'Hanis Cowboys

The Knippa Crushers will challenge the D'Hanis Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Knippa is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Medina with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 66-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crushers.

Meanwhile, D'Hanis came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their game with ease, bagging a 74-22 win over the Panthers. With the Cowboys ahead 44-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

D'Hanis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Knippa, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Knippa skirted past D'Hanis 53-50 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was D'Hanis' Jackson Cross, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds.
