While Crawfordsville's win against Frankfort wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Athenians had just enough and edged out the Hot Dogs 6-4. The Athenians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hot Dogs on Monday, too.

Henry Bannon and Jayden Jimenez did most of the damage at the plate: Bannon went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Jimenez went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Bannon has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Minnette, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Crawfordsville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10-1 record this season. As for Frankfort, they dropped their record down to 11-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Crawfordsville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hot Dogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
