Baseball Game Preview: Mt. Rainier Rams vs. Auburn Trojans

For the second straight game, Mt. Rainier will face off against Auburn. The Rams will take on the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Mt. Rainier took a loss when they played away from home last Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Auburn by a score of 4-1.

Mt. Rainier's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jack Kelly, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave Kelly a new career-high. Grey Walker was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Mt. Rainier now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Auburn, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
