Volleyball Recap: Exeter-West Greenwich Takes a Loss

Exeter-West Greenwich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mt. Pleasant Kilties. The Scarlet Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Kilties from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Exeter-West Greenwich's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Mt. Pleasant, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Exeter-West Greenwich is set to face off against their familiar foe North Providence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant will square off against rival Hope at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
