Volleyball Recap: Mallard Creek Comes Up Short

Mallard Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Porter Ridge Pirates.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-21.

Mallard Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Porter Ridge, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Mallard Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against South Point on the 22nd. As for Porter Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Charlotte Christian on the 22nd.
