Soccer Recap: Amherst County Comes Up Short

Amherst County managed to slip by Brookville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lancers came up short against the Bees on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Amherst County couldn't push the score so high this time.

Amherst County's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Brookville, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Amherst County will challenge Rustburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brookville, they will take on Jefferson Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson Forest will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Brookville surely won't give up without a fight.
