After a string of three wins, Bob Jones's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spanish Fort Toros. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Toros apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Bob Jones saw an underclassman step up: freshman Zoe Robinson had 13 assists and three digs. Analesa Hermesch also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Bob Jones' loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Spanish Fort, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Looking ahead, Bob Jones will square off against Spain Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spanish Fort, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Briarcrest Christian on the 23rd.
