Football Recap: Karns Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road + How To Watch

Karns had lost six games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 2-2 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 24-21 win over the Clinton Dragons. The game was the first time the Beavers have beaten the Dragons on their field since October 27, 2017.

It was another big night for Cameron George, who rushed for 249 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Those 249 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

As for Clinton, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. Dragons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Karns since Friday.

Despite the loss, Clinton had strong showings from Jaylon Benjamin, who threw for 368 yards and one touchdown, and Bryson Maddox, who picked up 184 receiving yards and one score. Maddox didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, made six total tackles (1.5 for loss), and defended one pass.
