Volleyball Recap: Franklin Heights Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Franklin Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Logan Chieftains. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Franklin Heights was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Logan's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-7, 25-11.

Logan was led to victory by Lila Kern and Gracen Grow. Kern had 22 assists and five aces, while Grow had 11 digs and two aces. Kern is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 22 or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Lily McKee also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Franklin Heights' loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Logan, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6.

Franklin Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Logan, they will take on Westerville South in a tournament on Thursday.
