Marist is 9-1 against St. Patrick since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The RedHawks will head out to challenge the Shamrocks at 10:00 a.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Wednesday, Marist came up short against Joliet Catholic and fell 6-1.

Meanwhile, St. Patrick lost 8-2 to Saint Viator on Wednesday.

St. Patrick has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season. As for Marist, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.

Marist took their victory against St. Patrick when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the RedHawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Shamrocks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
