Volleyball Recap: The First Academy Makes It Seven in a Row at Home + How To Watch

There's no place like home for The First Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Foundation Academy Lions on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Royals, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The First Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-19.

The First Academy was led to victory by Selah Kohler and Taylor Loveless. Kohler had 12 digs and two assists, while Loveless had nine digs and two assists. That's the most assists Loveless has posted over her last seven matchups.

Defeat or not, Foundation Academy got some senior leadership from Kaitlyn Hatfield and Luna Dela Cruz. Hatfield had 20 digs and two aces, while Dela Cruz had 14 digs. Those 20 digs set a new season-high mark for Hatfield.

The First Academy pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Foundation Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 15-3.

The First Academy has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Bishop Moore on the 24th. As for Foundation Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against The Master's Academy on the 25th.
