Basketball Recap: Rocky Point Comes Up Short

Rocky Point lost to Amityville Memorial back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles were dealt a 72-40 defeat at the hands of the Warriors.

Rocky Point has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Amityville Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocky Point will host Mount Sinai at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Amityville Memorial, they will challenge Wyandanch at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
