After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Etowah, Pennington was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Locust Fork Hornets. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won five in a row.

Pennington's victory bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Locust Fork, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Pennington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Hayden on the 29th. As for Locust Fork, they will venture away from home to face off against Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
