Basketball Game Preview: Price Knights vs. Knight Hawks

The Price Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Knight Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Price comes in on six and Knight on 11.

Price is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Ayala with a sharp 83-60 win. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 331st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Keshrey Smith, Jr was his usual excellent self, putting up 16 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. What's more, he also posted five steals, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tyrell Miller, who earned 13 points in addition to seven blocks and six boards.

Meanwhile, Knight posted their closest victory since January 15th on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Hesperia 56-53.

Price's record is now 23-6. As for Knight, their record is now 23-5.

Price came up short against Knight when the teams last played back in December of 2017, falling 54-50. Can Price avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
