Baseball Recap: Byram Hills Gets the Win

Byram Hills's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Hendrick Hudson Sailors. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Sailors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Byram Hills got a great performance from Joshua Goldman as he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, Chase Rodriguez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Cohen, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

The win got Byram Hills back to even at 1-1. As for Hendrick Hudson, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Byram Hills will welcome Rye at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hendrick Hudson, they will head out to face off against Yorktown at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
