Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Kingston Johnson stepped things up a notch to give Starkville the 'W'. Johnson threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in passer rating.

Looking ahead, Johnson and Starkville will take on Madison Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Johnson will face off against Tripp Smith, the Jaguars' star quarterback.
