Softball Recap: Highland Home Takes a Loss

Highland Home was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 24-4 to the Park Crossing Thunderbirds. The Flying Squadron were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderbirds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Highland Home's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Park Crossing, they moved to 1-1 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland Home will venture away from home to challenge Andalusia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Park Crossing, they will square off against Autauga Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
