Softball Preview: Covington Buccs vs. Bethel Bees

Covington is 8-1 against Bethel since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Buccs will look to defend their home field against the Bees at 5:00 p.m. Covington is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

They never let Troy Christian get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Buccs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Covington pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.75 runs across that stretch. As for Bethel, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
