Recap: Annapolis Area Christian Eagles vs. Mount de Sales Academy Sailors
The Annapolis Area Christian Eagles lost against the Mount de Sales Academy Sailors back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Annapolis Area Christian was beaten by Mount de Sales Academy 56-19. Annapolis Area Christian has not had much luck with Mount de Sales Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Shelby Lewis was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds for Mount de Sales Academy. Those 13 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Conley, who scored six points along with eight steals and seven assists.
Annapolis Area Christian now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Annapolis Area Christian will take on Park School at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Park School comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they will be playing at home against Gerstell Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Gerstell Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Friday.
