Richlands is 10-0 against Dixon since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Richlands Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Dixon Bulldogs at 6:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Despite the loss, Richlands saw an underclassman step up: Mia Wells scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Wells is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. Tashi Allen was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Dixon's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 11th straight defeat. They took a 40-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Croatan. The matchup was a 18-18 toss-up at halftime, but Dixon couldn't quite close it out.

Richlands has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Dixon, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Richlands strolled past Dixon in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 53-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Richlands since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
