Baseball Recap: Tipton Sets Scoring Season-High Against Calamus-Wheatland

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tipton). They came out on top against the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors by a score of 18-13 on Saturday. Surprisingly, this marked the Tigers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The win snapped Tipton's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-10 record. As for Calamus-Wheatland, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Coming up, Tipton will take on Durant at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. Calamus-Wheatland has already played their next game (against Iowa Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
