Baseball Recap: Spiro Comes Up Short

Spiro lost a heartbreaker to Beggs when they met back in April of 2017, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 14-7 to the Demons. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Demons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Spiro's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Beggs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Spiro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 16-6 victory against Heavener on the 16th. As for Beggs, they will challenge Glenpool at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Demons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
