Westlake is 9-1 against Rocky River since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Reagan Kane was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with seven RBI, one run, and one double. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 3.8 RBI per game.

In other batting news, Maggie Heigle and Elizabeth Smalley did most of the damage at the plate: Heigle scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances, while Smalley went 1-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple.
