Reedley won the last time they faced Orange Cove and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pirates put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 9-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

The team relied heavily on Jamilah Taylor, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Kristyn Gordon was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Reedley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orange Cove only posted a batting average of .241.

Reedley's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Orange Cove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.
