Basketball Recap: Epping Takes a Loss

Epping was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 60-37 to the Farmington Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-42 back in December of 2024.

Epping's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Farmington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Epping will square off against Sunapee at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sunapee knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Epping likes a good challenge. As for Farmington, they will head out to face off against Mount Royal Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Farmington is facing Mount Royal Academy at the right time seeing as Mount Royal Academy is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
