Langston Hughes walked away with a 45-38 win over North Paulding on Saturday. The 45-point effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Dutchtown posted their closest victory since November 23, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged Lassiter out 54-52. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Langston Hughes' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Dutchtown, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
