Soccer Game Preview: Fishburne Military vs. Carlisle

Fishburne Military is 0-7 against Carlisle since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Caissons will welcome the Chiefs at 4:30 p.m. Fishburne Military has given up an average of 4.8 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fishburne Military fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Stuart Hall on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 6-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. Femi Quartey is probably feeling rather frustrated with he team right now: they lost despite he posting three goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to nine goals the game before, Carlisle was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to Westover Christian Academy.

Fishburne Military's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Carlisle, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Fishburne Military might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Carlisle when the teams last played back in September of 2021. Can the Caissons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
