Softball Recap: Chestnut Ridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hollidaysburg on Wednesday, Chestnut Ridge came back down to earth. The Lions fell just short of the Forest Hills Rangers by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Lions have struggled against the Rangers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Chestnut Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Forest Hills, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Chestnut Ridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Bishop McCort on the 9th. As for Forest Hills, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Penn Cambria on the 12th.
