Football Recap: Clover Park Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Clover Park had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it four. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 26-25 to the Washington Patriots. The Timberwolves lost against the Patriots in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 50-6 score last time.

As for Washington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Washington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kyan Edwards led the charge by rushing for 45 yards and two scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Abel Vaetoe, who rushed for 59 yards and one TD on only six carries.

Clover Park has already played their next game, a 57-0 defeat against Orting on the 17th. As for Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 42-0 loss against Eatonville on the 18th.
