Football Recap: Kellogg Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kellogg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 20-14 heartbreaker at the hands of Watervliet. Kellogg was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Watervliet apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Watervliet had a senior duo take command as Caleb Jewell rushed for 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Cole Getz picked up 138 receiving yards and one TD.

Kellogg's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Watervliet, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Kellogg and Watervliet will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Panthers will take on rival Lawton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Watervliet is set to challenge their familiar foe Parchment at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
