Fresno suffered their closest defeat since December 4, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Hoover Patriots by a score of 48-45. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hoover to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cesar Juarez, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Pamir Olivier, who put up 14 points.

Fresno's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Hoover, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Fresno will welcome Sunnyside at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunnyside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season. As for Hoover, they will head out on the road to challenge Edison at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hoover is facing Edison at the right time seeing as Edison is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
