The Federal Way Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 13th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Tahoma, falling 82-15. Federal Way has not had much luck with Tahoma recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Tahoma's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bailey Nettleton, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Adalynn Busch was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.

Federal Way's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Tahoma, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Federal Way will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Mt. Rainier at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th. Mt. Rainier is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Tahoma, they will head out on the road to face off against Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Decatur will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Tahoma is ranked 11th).
