Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Nicholas County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They escaped with a win on Tuesday against Hoover by the margin of a single free throw, 59-58. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Grizzlies as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Nicholas County's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Shady Spring, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
