Volleyball Recap: Thornton Takes a Loss

Thornton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crete-Monee Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-21.

Thornton's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Crete-Monee, they pushed their record up to 16-18 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Thornton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crete-Monee, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Chicago Washington on the 28th.
