Volleyball Recap: Kettle Run's Undefeated Season over After Five Games + How To Watch

If Kettle Run was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Skyline on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sherando Warriors on Thursday. The loss put an end to the Cougars' undefeated start to the season.

While Kettle Run ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 19-25, 25-20.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kettle Run fell to 4-1. As for Sherando, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Kettle Run will be taking part in a tournament against Falls Church at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Cougars are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Sherando, they will take on Warren County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
