Marian won the last time they faced East Grand Rapids and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Pioneers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Quinn Nelson paced Marian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Nelson got some help from Allie Davison and her 24 assists. Davison was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Marian's win bumped their record up to 31-3. As for East Grand Rapids, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-7.
