Basketball Game Preview: Henry County Wildcats vs. Bourbon County Colonels

The Henry County Wildcats will face off against the Bourbon County Colonels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Henry County took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They secured a 61-55 W over Meade County.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bourbon County). They enjoyed a cozy 84-69 victory over Menifee County two weeks ago.

The win got Bourbon County back to even at 4-4. As for Henry County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Henry County beat Bourbon County 73-66 in their previous meeting back in January of 2015. Will Henry County repeat their success, or does Bourbon County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
