Recap: Boone Grove Wolves vs. Bowman Academy Eagles
The Boone Grove Wolves were the 43-28 winner over the Bowman Academy Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Boone Grove took a 33-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bowman Academy. Boone Grove just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Leading Bowman Academy to victory were Kaila Hopkins and Kahlen Robinson. Hopkins scored six points along with nine rebounds and three steals, while Robinson scored 16 points along with six steals. The game was Robinson's third in a row with at least ten points.
Boone Grove bumped their record down to 2-15 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bowman Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing River Forest the next time they take the court. Bowman Academy will host River Forest at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th, while Boone Grove will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
