Volleyball Recap: Ingleside Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Saturday. Ingleside fell 2-0 to Nixon-Smiley. Ingleside has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Ingleside ultimately came up short, they really made Nixon-Smiley work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 29-27.

Ingleside's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Nixon-Smiley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Ingleside will face off against George West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Longhorns will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nixon-Smiley, they will take on Falls City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
