Volleyball Recap: Upsala Comes Up Short

Upsala and Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Upsala had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Huskies. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost three in a row.

While Upsala was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia]'s winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-20, 26-24.

Upsala's loss dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia], the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-13.

As of now, neither Upsala nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
