Basketball Recap: Antigo Comes Up Short

Antigo lost against Shawano Community back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Antigo Red Robins fell 54-42 to the Shawano Community Hawks.

Antigo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Shawano Community, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antigo has already played their next match (against Lakeland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Shawano Community will square off against West De Pere at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West De Pere knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Shawano Community likes a good challenge.
