Canton had won two straight games and Preston Brewer did his part to make it three on Saturday. Canton had just enough and edged out Kirksville 59-57 which was due in part to Brewer, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Canton's win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Kirksville, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8.

Canton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kirksville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 45-41 victory against Chillicothe on the 24th.
