Soccer Recap: Madison Falls to East Rutherford in First Game of Season

Madison unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 5-0 to the East Rutherford Cavaliers on Thursday. Hayden Ferro was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Madison didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-1 loss against Smoky Mountain on the 18th. As for East Rutherford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Polk County on the 18th.
