Volleyball Recap: Burlington Comes Up Short

Burlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Winchester Red & Black. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their loss to the Red & Black from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-15.

Ashneel Ejenkar paced Burlington's offense, picking up seven kills. Ejenkar got some help from Asa Gans and his 11 assists.

Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Winchester, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Burlington will square off against rival Wakefield Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Winchester is set to face off against their familiar foe Lexington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
