Volleyball Recap: Farmington Takes a Loss

Farmington had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brighton Bulldogs. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Delaney Gilmore was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 assists and five digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Bellino, who had four digs and three aces.

Brighton has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Farmington has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Divine Child on the 21st. As for Brighton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Roosevelt on the 20th.
